Peak players online
How peak players online is measured each month, and what happens when your games go over the plan's limit.
How it is measured
- Every hour, Analyse adds up the players online across all games in the account, whatever studio or platform they are in.
- Each day's busiest hour is that day's peak.
- Your monthly figure is the 95th percentile of the daily peaks in the calendar month (UTC).
Using the 95th percentile means one unusually busy day, like a launch or a big event, does not push you into a higher plan. Roughly your busiest day or two each month is left out.
The current figure is shown under Account settings, Billing, with the date it resets: the 1st of each month.
Going over the limit
Your data is always collected, over the limit or not. The dashboard is never locked because of it.
- First month over: a banner warns you, and nothing else changes.
- Over this month and last month: the account is capped. Player lists, profiles and exports show only the most recently active players, up to the number below. Totals and charts stay complete.
| Plan | Peak players online | Players listed when capped |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 25 | 500 |
| Starter | 100 | 2,500 |
| Growth | 500 | 12,500 |
| Pro | 2,500 | 60,000 |
| Network | 10,000 | No cap |
Upgrading to a plan that covers your peak lifts the cap.
Features and history outside your plan
- Pages your plan does not include show what they do and which plan unlocks them.
- History older than your plan allows (30 days on Free, 12 months on Starter) is kept but hidden, and comes back when you upgrade.
